It's been a month!

One month into the new place and getting everything back to where it was before had been a mission. With the likely short time here, a lot of projects are a bit lacking in purpose so anything thats being done is limited to things which will move with me to the next house.

While I get round to starting the various ones I can do, I'll post ones from the last place which were at least useful in some way and will probably be repeated when i move somewhere more long term.

The biggest of these will likely be the Camera Jib (from waaaay back), the Golf and some stuff on the desk. There'll probably be more when i remember things I need to do.

Oh right! I forgot...

It suddenly occurred to me, mid way through a project (which i'd neglected to take any pictures of as a result) that I have a blog, fill of things I've done and haven't posted about.

So with a bit of luck i'll remember to post a few this weekend and share some of the projects again. If anyone notices me forget for a prolonged period again, do prod and i'll get back on it.

Fortunately I've started a second today, which I did remember to take pictures of, so that'll be coming soon (maybe) to a browser near, or more likely in front of you.

Slacking

With the year getting busier all my blog plans have started to lapse and updates are getting dropped in priority, even though it's just publishing them, I keep forgetting :(. I'll try and do a bit more next month and actually get back on track.

On the plus side, i've now had over 6,000 views. Maybe by the end of this year it'll be OVER NINE THOUSAND

More of the Busy, Less of the Time.

The last two weeks have been pretty insane, between covering the biggets LAN the UK has seen mashed up with a huge Minecraft Expo, all a week or so after a music festival, having a few days off seems like a good idea.

Not that it's helped much, just more to do in the next few weeks. Will up the frequency of the blog posts to catch up hopefully, but no promises :/.

ALL THE THINGS!

Well after a manic period of what feels like a year, but is really maybe a month or so (which actually come to think of it still feels long saying that way) i've resurfaced, many projects done, and nothing written up. Hurrah!

However now I'm going to try and catch up in earnest and post one or two things a week to catch up, rather than splurge everything in one go (mostly because as I say, it's not written yet). But hopefully at least it should be worth the wait. Maybe.

For now, i'll post a couple this week from the archive and soem recent stuff I didnt get round to doing before, then its ALL THE THINGS!

While there has been a vast period of inactivity by recent standards, the reason is solely due to doing so many things in the last 2 weeks I haven't even had time to publish an old post from the archive.

With a massive shuffle of things and the computer and bedroom becoming one a very carefully planned move and rebuild of the entire desk was needed. Nearing the end now so I shall post about it soon, but for now... more wires!

Blogs... Blogs Everywhere!

Recenty i've found that this blog actually has a lot more content (currently) to post than i'd expected, and with a bit more interest in my Warhammer one of the things I intended to do was split that off from this blog into its own one.

So, for those who are interested, heres my Cadian blog. Imperial Guard Cadian 83rd, I'll probably still post a few things here that are of interest (such as conversions) but the bulk will be on the new site.

The other blog i've made is to replace the village hall website I created some time ago and has proved to be a pain to work with. I've been on their committee for a few years now and this site should allow us a lot more flexibility for updates and news. The sites running on http://padworthvillagehall.blogspot.co.uk/ but eventually we'll move the primary domain over so it runs under padworthvillagehall.org.uk again.

Mini-milestone

Whee, as i type this, apparently I've now had 1000 views of this blog. Pleasing. More updates coming soon too
